Thank you for your interest in owning a berrycool™ franchise. Other questions besides those listed below will only be answered once your application has been submitted and reaches pre-approved status. Please see our Franchise Application for further information.

Q: What is the cost of opening a berrycool™ store?

A: Once your application is pre-approved then you will be called for an interview and the entire franchise fee structure details are explained Inperson.

Q: Do I need to submit an application fee with my application?

A: No. If your application is pre-approved, we will call to set up an interview. The Franchise Application Fee of US$500.00 (non-refundable, non-negotiable) will be due on the day of the interview, prior to its commencement.

Q: How long does it take for an application to be pre-approved?

A: The application process usually takes 2-4 weeks, however applications accompanied by a location address and site plan may be expedited. The location must be a prime location, approved for our specific business by the landlord or property management company. .

Q: If we do not have a location, will you get one for us?

A: This will be discussed at the time of Interview.

Q: Is there a specified distance, which must be maintained between each store?

A: Yes, a minimum of 5 driving kilometers. However a full market analysis would be used to determine the proximity of locations.

Q: What is the recommended location size?

A: 250 - 800 square feet.

Q: Do you franchise out of state?

A: Yes.

Q: Do you franchise out of the India?

A: Not at this time.

Q: How much income will the store generate? What is the ROI?

A: In accordance with franchise law, we are unable to provide this information or any kind of assumption on this matter.

Q: Do we have to buy all supplies from you?

A: Basic food supplies need to be purchased from us, in order to maintain our guaranteed, superior product quality. .

Q: How long will it take to open a store?

A: Once a location is secured and the construction permit has been issued, construction will usually take 8-10 weeks.

Q: Do you provide training?

A: Yes, we provide initial training, on-going training, and support as needed.

Q: What type of training do you provide?

A: berrycool™ offers our partners a comprehensive training program at our head office for up to three persons. This program includes a combination of classroom and in-store, hands-on training. The initial training program is approximately one week long for the primary operating principal and two weeks for the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Our field training team will also assist in the opening of each store.
